Creative Fibre has made another colourful, vibrant splash at this year’s Autumn Home Show. Our exhibition stand is full of fibrey goodness, and the Fashion Show is full of stunning pieces created by some of our exceptionally talented members.

It’s Day 2 of the Show, and out of all the creative chat that went on today, a web presence for the Auckland groups was mooted, decided and acted upon – it’s what you’re reading now!

Interest in fibre crafts has been steady, with many people rather caught by all the spinning wheels at work – especially men and boys, would you believe. We’re hazarding a guess that it’s the ‘clever machine’ aspect that’s proving so interesting… as well as the novel sight of thread being created. It really is quite captivating – as every spinner knows. So expect some groups to add a new member or two!
