For those of us lucky enough to get into the three days of clases we had a wonderful time. Learned loads, who would have thought percentage dyeing could be so easy and over dyeing was brilliant to watch and even better to do.
The art spinning was the best even for those of us with small orifices, we could still turn out fun yarns after securing our wheels on to the welcome mat from the front door:). When home pull out the large spinner and created some fluffy stuff.
Silk paper classes that was a creative eye opener as we realised we could make the paper cut it into shapes and place the paper onto our felting project and it didn’t relocate elsewhere while rolling the felt.
We had wonderful hostesses on all days especially Sue Betts with her marvelous soup and buns, then followed up with Pat Hagen and Ruth, they kept us warm and watered, including the a false alarm which apparently the hosting rats decided to release in the middle of Tracys’ discussion.
Sorry no photos lost my camera.
